Yes, it seems my buddy using steam has no issue at all.

Just to make sure we have the same issue - are you getting notified that you have to download the multiplayer mode, single player mode etc, but when clicking the "tabs" you're sent to the EA app and nothing seems to be out of order there, just ingame?

Yes it tells me that none off the game modes are installed and also that i dont have a license for any game mode, it takes me back to the EA app to purchase it.
