Re: DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED or DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG

This is a serious issue that affects many people who paid full price for a game they can’t actually play. Most of us, myself included, have spent hours trying to find a fix for the bug, but it seems impossible to solve. Your communication (EA) has been rather strange — you asked people to send in bug reports, but since then, there’s been complete silence.

Please give us at least regular updates on the progress. It would be enough if you honestly said that you’re working on the issue but are not yet sure what’s causing it. Just give us something. The current approach you’re taking is only frustrating a large part of the community.

Yesterday, you released a challenge update fixing more than 90 tasks, but compared to this problem — which we have zero information about — that seems quite trivial. Please, give us something!
