Secure boot issue

So I've been playing since the beginning and never issues. While I went afk today while playing I came back to my PC being off. Thought it was strange since no power outage. Turn PC on to play and says secure boot not enabled. Now somehow after turning secure boot back on my PC goes into a loop and I cannot get to my desktop to try and play. Only when I disable it I'm able to get back to my desktop. Any thoughts or ideas would be great thanks.
