The EA Anticheat just updated, and the game literally crashed to desktop in the main menu. So cool.
EDIT: Second times the charm, right? Next startup, the game crashes with a short message "Stop code -Error Memory Management" or something like that and my PC just rebooted...
So, now ALL my savegames and settings are gone now. YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME!!!!!
How do I get my game settings back? All my keybinds, Audio Settings, HUD Settings, all is gone... guys, this is not very motivating to play the game again... Like, EVER AGAIN!

Kicked me from game and said to 'disable cheating software and restart'. I... I don't have any cheating software lol? What am I supposed to disable? Also randomly crashing me to desktop :p
Plus one more - I got the small update today and it has crashed my game twice, including forcing my PC to reboot (the error code was about memory but was from the BF6 game interface).
It also corrupted and lost all of my local saves.
As there seems no way to recover my settings because of course steam cloud also has the new naked profsave now, I am trying to get my setting to what I had previously for the last one hour. And I did not even start with my keybinds yet. Great cinema. But hey, at least all my yellow dots are now disappeared which I could not get rid of before on some of my weapons. 🤬

EDIT: There are similar reports of this problem in the Steam Forums too. Shines a bright light on all the free users at the moment, that will for sure motivate them to buy the game lol
Had this issue twice today. Decided to uninstall the game and see if it helps... Updates introducing bugs that make your game crash for no reason is great...
Ive been having non-stop issues with the EA anticheat software. 473 hours of time on the game and im sure a good chunk of that is just troubleshooting. ive tried all the tips and tricks online, sometimes they work for a week, sometimes they do nothing at all. today was the first time its told me it "detected the possibility of cheating or tampering". i really enjoy the game but i dont want to have to continuously troubleshoot it while im listening to my friends play.

Happened to Westie live on stream. First a game crash, second crash rebooting PC, All settings GONE. All because the Javelin Update. Just watch the stream a little, they have a really hard time to even play a single round...
Dice are you sabotaging your game on purpose with every new patch? You fix maybe one bug but add 10 new ones... And your anticheat is crap too...
I use a Razer Raiju v3 pro PS5 controller playing BF6 on Steam. I have not previously had any problems using this controller for the past few months. However, today I started getting an error after each game that crashed my session to the desktop. Hopefully this helps someone in investigating the issue.
First time I've had this issue. No programs running in the background.. played for a few minutes and the game crashed with the error " EA Javelin Anticheat has detected an unacceptable configuration. Please ensure no cheat-related or tampering software is active and restart the game. (95) " .. How does this get past the testing before releasing the patch?

Fix your game, after the update I can’t log into it. I bought the game on Steam, and it just won’t open, everything was fine before the update. Everything is fine with my device too, there were no Windows updates or driver updates. After loading the anti-cheat, a window with the game opens and then simply closes. This is true, many people have had this problem after the latest update, there are discussions about this on Steam

This just happened to me. I got back in game but menu was frozen. I restarted and played two matches after and now seems fine. My concern is it will ban me. I never had this until today and I have 360 hours.
Weirdly I never got the AntiCheat Message so many people are getting and giving them trouble to play the game. All I got was those 2 crashes (First to desktop, second to a straight reboot of the system) and after the game decided to delete all my settings and keybinds it never crashed again in like 6 hours of playtime. And all my yellow dots from the weapon menus are gone which I could not get rid of before.
The Anticheat just got a new update in Steam, maybe this was the fix for the AntiCheat not letting many people play the game at all?
