Nightfall update broke Aspect Ratio Scaling

I normally run at 2560x1440 for BF6 since my GPU chokes on ultrawide. I did this prior by having the Aspect Ratio set in the driver with GPU scaling on and override on, which would then put two bars on the side of the screen and only use the portion of the screen needed(screen would only render the light grey area in the representation of the full monitor/resolution in the lower right of the screenshot attached). This latest update broke that, even though Override scaling mode set by games is set, BF6 is now stretching the 2560x1440 across the whole screen. Happens at each resolution (asides, of course, from the native 3440x1440.) This option was working prior to the update (i.e. it was working last night.)

Is there some override that I am missing that I need to set in BF6?

TEMPORARY WORKAROUNDS:

nVidia:Choose change resolution (tab on the left in the nvidia control panel) to 2560x1440(or whatever resolution you want it at) with the scaling set. HT to Xlayt on Reddit for this workaround.

AMD:

Open Windows 11 Display Settings go to the Graphics Card Driver and list all modes and choose your preferred Resolution. Windows will now display this resolution with the desired black screens on the side. GPU scaling in Adrenaline is on and set to centered. HT to YannicV
