On challenge 3 for engineering the “painted” challenge specifically, I’m not getting any damage going towards this and it IS by a laser designator not a vehicle. Anyone else with this issue ?

Make sure you aren't tracking the challenge. There's a bug where sometimes tracking it will stop it counting.
The challenge itself does work, I managed to do it over the course of an evening playing conquest & escalation.
I am not tracking it ! It’s just not giving any damage towards the challenge.
Vehicle mounted weapons don't progress this challenge.
Aircraft don't count if you're in a Locked Weapons match.Yeah same problem. Went in with friends who both were just painting everything. Used the law, SLW, and rpg on tanks, Choppers and jets and nothing counted
What worked for me and my friend it to go Firestorm ESCALATION.
One as Recon painting tanks, one with javelin doing the hits. Took us 1 game after weekf of banging head aganist the wall.
I suppose the tracking is just bugged on conquestI've got the same bug, tried the handheld lock-ons and vehicle lock-ons and nothing works. Ive tried all the game modes with vehicles but nothing I do makes the damage I do to painted targets count :(
