The Battlefield 6 servers in the Middle East (Bahrain and Dubai) are completely down and we cannot play. We, the game community in the Middle East, want servers opened in the region, preferably in Riyadh, as it has the best servers that anyone could wish for.
Yes same here. I was always connected to the Bahrain server which had plenty of players. I wish they would bring it back up again.
Now I get connected to servers in Europe which naturally has a a high ping for us.
same im being connected to eu or asia servers 90+ ping always and the game is sooo baddd. avg ping is most of the time 100ms+

The servers are down due to the current conflict in the middle east, not really EA's fault, even non-gaming related services are down...
Yeah I hear you, brother, if there are infrastructure issues then obviously EA can’t just fix that overnight.
But at the same time, saying nothing can be done isn’t really true either. The game runs on cloud servers, so there should still be ways to manage things better while the Middle East servers are down.
Like right now we’re not even being routed to nearby regions. I’ve been thrown into EU and even East Asia servers, not Turkey, not India, not even Singapore, nothing that actually makes sense for our location. That’s why the ping is sitting at 90–100 ms and the game feels off.
Surely they can at least tweak matchmaking to prioritise closer fallback regions instead of sending us halfway across the world.
And on the server side, they don’t need to build anything new from scratch. They could spin up temporary capacity in nearby regions using existing cloud infrastructure. Not saying it’s instant, but it’s also not something that should take forever.
So yeah, maybe the root issue isn’t fully in their control, but how it’s handled definitely is. Right now it just feels like there’s no communication and no real effort to reduce the impact on players here. Insha’Allah tn7al hal mushkila qareeban.

One thing you can do is subscribe to a service like ExitLag and see if that helps, not all EA games have severs on the same locations, for example i play both FIFA and BF6, BF6 is affected by the ME servers being down, while fifa stays perfectly fine because they have servers in Dammam KSA and those have not been affected, ExitLag does provide a 3 days trial i think, download it and select the nearest server/location to you and see if that helps.

Which region you connect to with exitlag ?
its because of the war in the middle east. they shut down there servers it wouldn't surprise me if ea pulled they're people out of the region to

For the lowest ping that i can get with exitlag is 132ms and i get packet loss sometimes 20% above not to mention the ping spikes to 200ms.
It will get better when the ea transfer to the middle east is done. I think thats why its so bad for the people of the ME
