Support Specialist Challenge Stuck!

It reached 96 many many hours ago and hasn't tracked since. I've tried various game modes, EA App repair. PC reboot.
I can only assume this is a bug.

You've mentioned some known issues around certain challenges, but it appears all are broke. Honestly feels like a Battlefield 2042 launch at this point.

The challenge to "deal damage with incendiary airburst launcher as support" on support specialist 3 does not track properly. I have killed people entirely with just the incendiary airburst launcher and earned no progress to the challenge.

I would like to report a serious issue with the Recon Specialist I challenge in Battlefield 6. Since the latest update (version 6.4), the challenge is completely not tracking any progress.

I’ve already tried everything possible:
– Playing as Recon in both All-Out Warfare and Portal modes
– Using all Recon gadgets (SOFLAM, Motion Sensor, etc.)
– Spotting enemies inside objective zones
– Restarting the game and relogging

Despite this, the counter stays at 0. I’m still receiving XP and spotting points in-game, but the challenge itself never progresses. Many other players are experiencing the exact same issue right now.

Please, fix this bug as soon as possible or confirm if a hotfix is planned. It’s one of the key class progression steps and currently impossible to complete.

It doesn't count for the fire damage is what I've found. You need to get direct hits with the Incendiary Airburst Launcher in order for them to count. You do about 15 damage per direct hit.

Assault shotgun is the same. I understand it wasn’t tested but it ridiculous stuff like this gets through

Support Specialist Challenge #3: 'Deal damage with the Incendiary Airburst Launcher as Support' only counts direct impacts with the Incendiary Airburst launcher. Direct impact only count as 12 damage per hit (unless you headshot with 14 damage). You would have to hit 167 people with a direct impact to complete the challenge. This cannot be intended. Please fix this to count the incendiary damage done by the incendiary launcher. Please test your game next time.

The attachment has 11 direct impacts with 1 headshot direct impacts (12 body damage x 11 hits) + 14 headshot damage = 146 damage

Wp incendiary challenge not tracking and my reviews keep resetting at 70 to zero. Any ideas?

The support challenge that requires to get damages with the "incendiary airburst launcher as support" does not continue counting after get some damages done. It will just stop counting after a bit of damage is done. 

Support Specialist 3 says deal damage with the Incendiary Airburst Launchers as Support.

Its ONLY tracking direct impact damage of the projectile, not the burn damage. Which is around 10 damage for a direct hit. So you cant do the challenge as an airburst, you have to aim for direct impact, which is ridculous.

Description: Support Specialist 3 - 

• Deal 2,000 damage with the Incendiary Airburst Launcher as Support

This challenge tracks Launcher interaction as a "projectile" aka bullet. 

What does this mean is that tick (burn) and aoe damage is not calculated toward progression. 

Launcher is set to behave like a gun aka only it's projectile in this case grenade acts like bullet and only initial first hit is registered towards task progression, the rest isn't . 

How to finish task? 

You have to think of it as any other main weapon, aim directly into enemy and try hit head/torso as those give most dmg (it's easier vs bots) . You can do between 40-60 dmg per hit which makes this task real slog to complete as only 1 hit dmg is calculated towards progression. 

As said tick(burn) damage or aoe splash do not register. This is I believe wrong calculation bug and it should be looked into.  

How did you get past the 1st challenge on track 2? I can’t get my intercepts to track

As of 2025-10-16 it is still broken. Only impact damage counts and between 15-22 dmg per launch.

"Deal damage with the Incendiary Airburst Launcher as Support." The only damage that is counted for this challenge is direct impacts with the launcher, which only is 12 damage. Plz fix 

Yeah,its pretty annoying,i ruined my kd trying to get that.

I just went on XFCP and farmed it with bots. It's way easier if you are on the defending side at the first capture point, since they usually congregate on the hill, so you can just blast them. It still took FOREVER. 

I did the same for the Assault incendiary shotgun and the grenade launcher challenge. I know that DICE wants us to gradually work on these as we play throughout BF6's supposedly 3-year life cycl,e but some of these items don't really fita lott of people's play styl,e and trying to farm them oregularrmal match is a pain in the **bleep**.

Same problem here, and it's my last quest before i get the red badge 😩😩

It is still bugged a bit only getting about 12 points of damage per hit … however this will not stop me i am 1803 of 2000 damage with this sob

What I don’t get is if the progress restarts every match?

I'm currently stuck at 20/2,000 and I actually have no problem getting kills with the launcher.

The revive mission restarts progress every match, but the 2,000 damage with the Incendiary Launcher keeps progression, or it should at least.

just got super lucky and got 1400 in 1 shot when i shot a tank. After trying again tho it doesnt do damage so idk what happened
