Real problems with matchmaking on ps5

What's wrong with matchmaking? I've been trying to play for the past two days (mainly Sabotage mode, because of challenges). When I show up in the lobby, there are only a few players. Instead of filling up, the lobby empties. Yesterday, I was only able to join the game after an hour and a half. Today, I have the same problem. What's going on? It's frustrating.
