Re: Battlefield 6 connects to Chile servers instead of U.S. East

Why is this still an issue? Has been so long sense launch. Read like 20-30+ day old threads that say it is known, but still hasn't been fixed... Live in central usa, but stuck on a server 5000 miles away?.... No option to simply change it on our ends, but never gets fixed... Play every other game perfectly fine, best internet plan available from provider and still having issues exclusively here.

Have been done with EA for a while now, gave one last chance and even patient for nearly a month or more sense launch... If not fixed soon I may just give up on EA entirely never buying again... Same with blizzard, haven't touched anything from them for years. perma done.

Its not Santiago, Chile. Santiago was the codename for bf6 while in development.

You're not being connected to a server 5000 miles away.  "Santiago" is the code name used for BF6, it is not the location of the data center you are being routed through.  The issue most likely is time nudge which is your CPU being overworked and not being able to keep a minimum of 60 fps.
