Error Code 0:85009S

Battlefield 6 Technical Support Team,

I recently did a fresh reinstall of Windows 11 Pro, and ever since then, I cannot stay in a match for more than a few minutes before getting kicked. Prior to the reinstall, I had no issues.

Here is the list of troubleshooting steps I have already gone through, none of which solved the issue:
Note: I'm using a hard wired Ethernet NIC and I have a 1 Gbps internet connection and it's been verified.

1) Tried many DNS services: AT&T, Google (8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4), and Cloudflare (1.1.1.1 / 1.0.0.1)
2) IPv6 - Disabled
3) Uninstalled and reinstalled BF6 and drivers via a clean install of Windows 11 Pro
4) Reset my AT&T router
5) Verified the game files and cache
6) Repaired, and also reinstalled, the EA Anti-Cheat
7) Tried 2 different Ethernet NICs and even a wireless adapter
8) No background apps are running like RGB controllers (iCue, Armoury Crate) or hardware monitors (MSI Afterburner), etc.
9) No VPN's or overlays running like GeForce Experience
10) Cleared the EA App Cache

Nothing has worked and I'm out of ideas and just want to play the game.
Help me EA Technical Support, you are my only hope.
Thank you in advance.

Question 1: Is constantly getting kicked 5 minutes after a game started an anti-cheat (Javelin) issue?  There only error is 0:85009S and nothing points to anti-cheat software.  It's also happens on my mobile Wi-Fi hotspot using cellular connection so it's not a local network issue (router, etc).

Question 2: Are there any BF6 or AC log files that would give more information as to the issue and why it's happening?  That error 0:85009S is so generic and not helpful.

  • Same Here,

cant open support, this is really bad, did the same steps as beelineboy nothing works. You need to fix this, waste of money bought this game for 70 USD and cant play.

    Best Regards

I've tried all the suggestions from Lunardust and Aljo and I'm still having the issue.  Since it's very reproduceable, and happens at 5 minutes, can anyone tell me what is going on at that moment?  Is it anti-cheat, is it something else?

Since the game code is kicking me at the 5 minute mark, it has to know what caused it.  Are there any log files or stack traces we can look at?

If your CPU and motherboard firmware supports this feature, and you have up to date chipset drivers, then I would suggest the following:

    1.) Open the Command Prompt:

2A.) Windows 11: Start Menu -> Right-Click -> Run -> taskmgr -> Click OK. -> Run new task ( Top-Right Corner Of Task Manager ) -> %SystemRoot%\System32\cmd.exe -> Enable Checkbox: "Create this task with administrative privileges." -> Click OK.

2B.) Windows 10: Start Menu -> Right-Click -> Run -> taskmgr -> Click OK. -> File -> Run new Task -> %SystemRoot%\System32\cmd.exe -> Enable Checkbox: "Create this task with administrative privileges." -> Click OK.

3.) Enable VBS with Secure Boot, DMA protection, and memory integrity, without UEFI lock:

    REG ADD "HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\DeviceGuard" /V "EnableVirtualizationBasedSecurity" /T REG_DWORD /D 00000001 /F
    REG ADD "HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\DeviceGuard" /V "RequirePlatformSecurityFeatures" /T REG_DWORD /D 00000003 /F
    REG ADD "HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\DeviceGuard" /V "Locked" /T REG_DWORD /D 00000000 /F
    REG ADD "HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\DeviceGuard\Scenarios\HypervisorEnforcedCodeIntegrity" /V "Enabled" /T REG_DWORD /D 00000001 /F
    REG ADD "HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\DeviceGuard\Scenarios\HypervisorEnforcedCodeIntegrity" /V "Locked" /T REG_DWORD /D 00000000 /F

    My specs...

    NVIDIA GTX 5080
MSI X870E Godlike (using latest firmware and chipset drivers)
    AMD 9950X3D CPU
    96 GB DDR5 RAM

I tried the Device Guard suggestion and it didn't work.  I do appreciate the suggestion.
I wish someone at EA Technical Support that has more experience with this issue would respond.
