Tier Skip (SCAMMED BY EA)

I FEEL LIKE I WAS SCAMMED BY EA.

I used those Battlefield Coins to purchase Battle Pass tier skip packages at the end of Season 1, after I had already completed the Season 1 Battle Pass. In Season 2, the purchased skip value was not available, and the game then consumed additional Battlefield Coins when I tried to skip a tier.

My issue is not buyer’s remorse. My issue is that the paid digital content appears to have been missing, unusable, or not clearly disclosed as season-limited at the time of purchase.

I am requesting a refund/review on the basis of:

digital content not as described / missing paid entitlement
lack of clear disclosure of the season limitation
additional coin loss caused in Season 2

Please review the purchase under your digital refund process and applicable consumer rights.

At the end of Season 1 in Battlefield 6 I used most of my Battlefield Coins to buy the tier skip packages that were discounted. When I bought those tier skip packages, I already had finished 100% of Season 1 battle pass, and I bought tons of skip tokens that I wanted to use for the next season.
I WANT TO REMIND EVERYONE THAT NOWHERE IN THE SHOP AND/OR UNDER THE TIER SKIP PACKAGES IT WAS WRITTEN THAT THEY WOULD NOT BE TRANSFERRED TO SEASON 2.

Now, in season 2, I tried to skip a tier on my Battlepass and instead of using the tokens it used my Battlefield Coins.
Where are all the tokens that I bought 2 weeks ago?
I really hoped I didn't "lose" all those tier skips I bought, because EA never explained anywhere that those skip tiers would have been "removed" in the next season 2.
I spend 2000 battlefield coins to buy them. If I can't use them now, I would at least like to get a refund all the coins I spent (both for the skip tokens, and also the ones i used by mistake in season 2 to skip a tier).

EA SUPPORT WROTE ME:

"EA auto-consumption policy: Auto-Consumption Policy: Similar to other major shooters, any unspent tokens at the end of a season are often automatically applied to remaining rewards. Since the customer had already completed the Season 1 pass, these tokens may be viewed as expired if not used within the season of purchase."
"As per the game's item usage policy, we cannot change or modify it. If you're unsatisfied with the policy, please post your concerns on the EA forums."

THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE SCAM.

I already finished 100% of the Battle Pass when I bought the tier skip, if I would've known that ea would remove them in season 2, I woudln't have spent 2k battlefield coins for tier skips that I coduln't even use. oNLY

It's like I threw in the trash 2000 Battlefield Coins for no reason. Only a **bleep** would do that.

Gotcha, had no idea that they ever discounted tier skips (I've never bought them, nor intend to ever use them). I also only bought the exact number of coins to buy the battlepass (and then that earns the exact amount for the next one), so I know I'm not exactly the target audience for the thread, but it does seem really dumb that it doesn't specify. Does the current tier skips say for this current season only?

  • In the shop and under the tier skip packages wasn't written that they woudln't be spendable in Season 2.

It makes no sense that  the shop allows a user that fully completed the Battlepass in season 1 buys tier skips for that season. This is ridicolous.

  • I bought them because they were discounted and I thought that it would be a good idea to buy them in advance while discounted and use them in Season 2.

When I bought 2000 worth of Battlefield Coins for those discounted skip tier packages, I already finished 100% of Battle Pass and Bonush Path... So literally I bought them only to use in Season 2.

Yeah, ultimately it should have prevented you from buying any skips after completing the battlepass. Is there any particular reason why you decided to buy them prior to the new pass launching? Just out of curiosity (this is not meant to be victim-blaming in that regard)
