Trying to use chat blocks all mouse and keyboard inputs
As title says, when trying to use game chat, the keyboard and mouse inputs are no longer registered, so I can't even close the chat box, forcing me to quit the application. Not good

I have the same. Reported it via mutiple channels in labs already that the bug is present. They wouldn't care.
