Two PlayStation Accounts on one EA account

So it’s exactly as in the title. My Dad started playing BF6 a few weeks ago and I got it yesterday. When I logged on, I was already level 42. I eventually realized that both of our playstation accounts were connected to an EA account he made for me when I was younger which allows both of us to level up at one time.  While the EA account is mine, Dad’s PlayStation account is still connected to it. If my Dad makes his own EA account, will he keep his 42 levels that he earned or will it restart his progress?
