Update 1.1.2.0 reset my keybinds/settings. Why?

Sure would be nice to have a patch update that didn’t mess up controller keybinds. Last two were ok, but we’re back to the 2042-start-my-game-after-update-and-why-aren’t-my-buttons-working!? again. D...

    • Players unfortunately have had their keybinds/setting reset as part of Update 1.1.2.0, we are working to address this in future updates.

FYI, just like the 1.1.1.0 update, this 1.1.2.0 update messed up many keybinds. It was instantly obvious for me as I use ESDF for movement keys. Might not be as obvious for other players...

If you are a player that only rebinds a few keys you might think certain game functions are broken after the udpate (e.g. steady scope might seem broken, but perhaps the keybind was reset to default). Check your keybind settings to discover what was changed by the update.

I hope this helps anybody that is wondering what happened with the "broken" keybinds. Updates shouldn't change keybinds!

P.S. DICE, will you please help us out with this in the future so we don't have to clear and rebind all the keybinds every time there is an update? That would be great!

    Brooooo!!! I use ESDF too!! this made me uninstall the game btw haha 

    All my games have personalized keybinds and it takes me hours before I even start a new game literally testing and customizing the keybinds

    Yes, if this was the simple game with basic settings, wouldn't be a problem to rebind. But this game has the most excesive settings options I ever seen. People waste hours to understand each option and tweak/rebind it. And just like that, I join the game and I cannot play because my binds do not work. So, yea thank you EA for all my and others wasted time.
