Re: Middle East server issues

Hey everyone,

I wanted to start a discussion about the state of Middle East servers, especially looking ahead to the next Battlefield. For a long time now, ME players have been dealing with incredibly frustrating ping and latency issues.

We completely understand that there are complex regional challenges right now affecting internet routing and submarine infrastructure. However, it frequently feels like EA is overlooking our community. Other major gaming companies have successfully adapted to these exact same regional challenges by migrating or expanding their server infrastructure from Dubai to Riyadh. This move has massively stabilized ping for players across the entire region.

Why hasn't EA taken similar steps? The ME community is massive and passionate about the Battlefield franchise, but the current server situation makes it highly uncompetitive and sometimes unplayable. We'd love to see some transparency from EA and DICE on whether better routing solutions—or a Riyadh server—are in the works.

What does the rest of the community think? Have you noticed better performance in other games that made this server shift?

typical ea !! 2 months into this and still not even a word about this situation from ea
imagine if the servers were down in eurpore or na and players there being routed to a completly different region , what would happen !!!
