I transfered BF6 back to my internal hard drive and it reset my level

    Could you first check that you're signed in with the correct console profile and the EA account that's linked to it? If you have multiple profiles on your console, it's possible the game was launched with a different one. Also, if the game is shared between multiple console profiles, make sure you're using the profile where you originally earned your progress. Restart your console again and play a couple of games online to help sync your account.

    I don't think that moving the game to a different storage device would be an issue, since your data is stored in the cloud. I transfer my games between internal and external storage frequently on my Xbox. Have you checked that everything has synced?
