"A Begining" Dog Tag - Easter Egg - Did Not Receive - BF1 - PS4 - Fixed - Solved
I had spent 9 hours going map to map picking up head phones, decrypting secret messages, and finding small symbols. I got to stage nine in the Easter egg listened to the mores code play. Enter the Giants Shadow map climbed up the closest windmill on the German spawn side. I waited atop the windmill for two minutes, then here comes the pigeon and the sound of the achievement. I then waited a moment and left the map, I brought up my dog tags and the "A Beginning" was not there. I had contacted EA Support to be told to contact back later so a specialist could help me with my problem. After some time had passed I had contacted EA Support once again to be told they could do nothing about it. I was told to post my problem here so that maybe the studio team could see this and help fix the problem. I being one who enjoys the Battle Filed Easter eggs, I have completed the Phantom Missions and Dice LA camo Easter Eggs in BF4. So I am hoping this issue can be resolved so I don't have to watch others going future in this new set of Easter Eggs and I can only watch due to an error in the game.
Okay guys I found my problem. I went back to an Amiens map found the headphones saw the telegraph was still cyan meaning the achievement has not registered yet. I then loaded up Giants Shadow map spawned in on the German side, at this point I looked around and noticed there is a windmill behind you when you spawn. I had originally went to the first windmill I saw which was the first one right after the first field. So obviously error on my part. Make sure you look for the windmill right behind you when you spawn on German spawn point. Second of all another post where Lazathelobster was having a problem with Getting the dog tag, his solution was to shoot the pigeon when it was coming at you.
