Add or find people in new GUI?

There are two ways How to Add Friends:

1. Go to Battlelog http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf4/ and search you friends via Search bar.
2. Go to your Origin client or Origin website and search your friends via Friend List  or via Friends button

On PC social services of Battlefield 3; Battlefield 4 and Battlefield 1 are associated with Origin, it means if you want to add friends via battlelog, then they will be also added to your Origin Friend List.

It's clearly that i went to battlelog and did it.
But my question was: is that the intention?
I guess new GUI should replace battlelog, right?

And add a friend in Origin is not possible from mobile device, so not an solution either.
The new Battlefield app does not allow you to add friends as the old "battlelog" app did.

I really think that should be looked into!

New UI for Battlefield was migrated from consoles to PC and of course new UI doesn't have all features from Battlelog and Battlelog app was renamed to Battlefield Companion and also was changed.  So, if you do not have PC or laptop, then you can try to use mobile web version of battlelog http://m.battlelog.com/#lang=en to add new friends.

Yes,I hope too and I hope Battlefield Companion App  will get full-fledged search function for adding friends.
