aim assist

How aim assist work
  • The aim assist is only available on the console versions of the game.  You have to have the option set to On in the settings.  It works by slightly helping your aim and adding a bit of tracking to your enemies.  It is not aim-bot or anything, but it does kind of stick to the player ever so slightly.  This is why alot of people prefer PC gaming, as there is no "aim assist" on PC, and mouse and keyboard is much more accurate than a controller.  This is another reason that consoles have aim assist, to compensate for the decrease in accuracy with controllers.

    Hello

Aim assist is pretty much self explanatory. Get your reticle close enough to a target, and the game will give the aim a little nudge to get it on target. Since using the controllers isn't as precise as mouse aiming on a PC, this feature is usually welcomed in console FPS games.
