All Battlefield 1 campaign progress lost & no multiplayer privileges (on Xbox 1)

How do I:  1. recover all of my progress in campaign mode, and, 2. repair whatever issue is causing me to have no multiplayer privileges?  I've been playing the game for two weeks and on Jan. 4 these two issues appeared.  [Note: this applies to Battlefield 1 installed from disc on an Xbox One S with latest updates].

Thank you in advance for any and all suggestions/answers.

  • @RiverJurist38 Hmm, is there any chance that you changed your account? The Campaign saves are stored locally and shouldn't be removed unless they were deliberately removed. 

    As for playing the multiplayer, can you try a system restart, to begin with. Hold the front button until your system beeps and shuts down, then try again. This issue appears for some folks, and in some cases a quick restart is sufficient.

    I have lost all my campaign codex progress...I have completed all of it and done all of them and when I load it up now I have to start from the beginning and everything has reset and I can not even connect to multiplayer and in the main menu it just keeps connecting...im 83 in multiplayer. how do I fix this?

    Just happened to me too, after profile switch between my partner & I sharing same xbox!

    This thread is quite old and as a similar sounding issue over this much time may have different causes so it's generally best to keep things more current to avoid confusion.

    If the steps in this earlier post don't help to solve your situation, please feel free to create a new thread if you're not finding a more recent topic on the same subject.
