"An unknown error occurred. Error code: 1" Since Dec. 1, 2023

So I want to get the peacekeeper secret revolver and obviously I need an empty server to get the morse codes, but every single conquest server I try to join with 0/64 players gives me the same error code

    Good news, our teams found out what was causing the problem over the weekend. They fixed it earlier today, and we can't see the problem anymore. So, we're treating this as sorted and will be closing this thread soon.

    Hi, is there any definitive solution to this?

    I get the same error on every server I try to join in BF1, BFV and BF4. It must be something related to the EA account.

    I find it hard to believe it's related to any kind of ban, because I don't even play that well and besides, I'm playing on Xbox Cloud, so I can't even acuse any admins of hacking...

    Anecdotally, it does seem to be though- I've been unable to play BF1 for 2 years now, without any explanation. I've tried everything, reinstall, new network, new hardware, the list goes on. My account history shows no bans, however, I had the idea of having my brother sign into his account on my PC, and sure enough, when signed into his account, BF1 boots right up, and connects without any issues.

    Sure seems like a ban to me! A shadowban, if you will.
