Any chance of releasing a payable version of a map editor for BF4?
EA / DICE, You might generate more revenue by allowing others to create there own custom maps for your BF4 franchise by implementing even a web based map editor so you can monitor who does what with the map editor.
Heck what do you have to lose now that this new BF1 is coming out.
The game has NO appeal to me, I can't seem to find any batteries to fit that old "Flux Capacitor" to be able to go back to the dawn of time or war or whatever it is and by allowing people even myself to create our own custom maps and implementing them on the servers in which we rent it would generate more revenue.
Personally speaking, I'd be willing to pay EA / DICE anywhere from 50$ to a 100$ a month to use a map editor.
Otherwise EA / DICE, you're going to be losing more than you bargain for.
There are a great deal of people out there that do NOT want to play the game, will NOT buy the game and are looking for something that has choppers, jets and modern day war machines.
I have spent way to much time in this game to just throw it away by going elsewhere.
90% of the new games coming out are including a map editor, yet EA / DICE are basically refusing to do this.
It's your call, I realize that but think of the people you're giving the shaft to for a change.
Do you really want to lose the gamers that spend 99.998% of there game time in BF4? or do you and or are you willing to take the chance on losing ALL of your customers based on a few people that don't want FLIR or a chopper ...
And by releasing a map editor it would allow people such as myself to employ other idea's.
I had thought up something that might help our military veterans that suffer from P.T.S.D. which would use the BF4 franchise but these maps that are current are old, boring as heck and just plain worn out.
Think about it for a millisecond and let us know. I for one do not want to go to another franchise due to the fact that a person has to retrain ourselves ...
