Are they shutting down Bad Company 2 Multiplayer after 5/31/14?

I was just wondering, because it seems a little unfair, for one thing so many people still blay BC2, and I recently got it, so I pretty much payed for a game with only half its content if its true that EA will shutdown all the servers.

    @ramonadesfleurs This has not been announced. And in my opinion i don't think this will happen any time soon since BFBC2 is still a very popular game. And the servers are not run by gamespy (which the BF games that are being shut down are run by)

    thanks for the quick reply!

    thats a relief, because the second gamespy was shutting down everyone was saying all the servers will shutdown too, but thank goodness

    and yes it is VERY popular, I think more people play it than BF3 actually (or just as many)
