I have the same issue! I live in Maldives which is in the Indian Ocean Islands! According to the speed test I do i have a great ping of 5 ms! I have 4 mbps download and 0.8 mbps upload!
But when I try the battlefield servers, the lowest ones are above 240 and increases to 600 and more! I get banned for having high ping! I also wonder if this is due to a problem from the batttlefield hosting or from the ISP side!
Hope any one can come up with a solution or a reasonable explanation for this!
