Attack helicopter ammo counter is broken!

Hey guys,  So when i hop into an Attack helicopter in BF3 in the bottom right the ammo counter is always - - - it never changes no matter what i do, i play on Xbox 360, please help this has been hap...

    The reason it shows - - - is because it's unlimited ammo. If it was limited it would show you a number.

I understand that part now, but why does it flash, Reload?
