ayment Errors BF1. 10048 Paypal/ Visa Debit

Your action cannot be processed We're unable to process your order at this time due to an issue with your provided payment method. Please use a different payment method to complete your order, or try again later. (Paypal)

Your request could not be processed. We're unable to verify this credit card. (Visa Debit).

I have been trying to purchase battlefield 1 ultimate edition for weeks and these error messages continuously pop up.

Origin Version 10.2.2.60207 - 0. (Problem also occurred on previous version of origin).

I have used different computers, cards and Paypal accounts all with available funds only to receive the same messages.

I have added different Paypal accounts and visa debit cards as primary payment methods.

Shipping details are also reflected by my current Paypal and visa debit cards.

Logging out and back in every time I changed Paypal accounts/ visa debit cards as primary payment methods.

On occasion when trying with Paypal i will get error code 10048.

I have contacted my bank who says everything is fine on their end and I have purchased other things online and on steam with these same cards/ paypal account with no problems which leads me to believe that my cards/ Paypal accounts are not at fault.

I have contacted EA support who literally passes the blame onto my bank or some elusive technical problem that will resolve in a matter of hours/ days etc. (not to mention the excessive wait times with live chats 40 mins to 2 hours) Of course. This was completely unhelpful and nothing has actually resolved as the problem still continues.

I have also noticed multiple forums and web pages containing other disgruntled consumers who have the same/ similar problem that at the time of composition of post, that remained unanswered/ or unresolved (ironically some of these posts were labelled as solved on EA forums even though the contents stated it was not).

This is extremely frustrating as the accessibility of battlefield 1 ultimate edition is limited to only Origin ( at the time of composing this post) and not in any other service like steam or as a hard copy that can be bought in store.

I am surprised by the lack of change or improvement in regards to this subject. The amount of similar complaints and numerous consumers unable to buy from this service must result in small but substantial loss of revenue which should be a necessary incentive for EA's experts to figure out a solution or at least create an alternate path for consumers to buy the product they want.

This has compelled me to type up my experience in the hope that someone may respond with some useful information that may lead closer to a fix for this problem.

Feel free to go all ape * on this subject

It appears that your purchases are being blocked for security reasons - I cannot specify anything here on a public forum so you will have to open a case with our Advisors.

I can see that you've already tried to setup a chat with them. However, you can also reach out to us directly on Monday via 1800 894 823.

After 72 hours haven't gotten an email or reply, nor was the problem fixed. Any notifications on progress?
