@gunslinger_steez Hey there! I'm actually unsure where to check the CD Key in EA Desktop myself, there is another way to see if we can sort you out and get you back playing!
First of all do you have Origin installed?
If you do have Origin installed you can right click the game in your library and go to game properties. On the first tab of game properties you should be able to see your Serial key. Would you be able to take a look and see if you have that?
- 4 years ago@EA_Rtas I have the same problem. I'm signed up to EA play, i've downloaded Battlefield 2 Bad Company and to play online it asks me for a serial key, I've no idea where to find it as the game was included in my EA pass

I am signed in under an Xbox account because Game Pass offers EA Play for free. Origin doesn't have an Xbox login though, which would probably solve the problem altogether if it did.

Not sure if it solves the problem if you make sure you linked your Xbox gamertag to your EA ID/Origin account.
