I have the same issue. Thankfully the game is in an unplayable state so I can't use the features anyway, but I was given a suspension for 24 hours for a reason that was clearly not listed in the forum rules. There is no mention of posting about crashes and moderation action in the rules as a bannable offence (you can read it for yourself, there is NO mention at all). There is also no right of appeal against moderator actions or a means of filing complaints against them as that results in ban extensions. Meanwhile a duplicate thread carries on unlocked and threads that are clear violations of the forum rules are freely made with no action taken.
If bans like this can be given out of the blue by members of staff for reasons not listed in the forum rules simply because you don't agree with them then it is not safe to post on the forums if it negatively affects your game experience in this manner. Especially once they have you "targeted."
For the record, AFAIK from the somewhat unhelpful banning post from the moderator in question, the ban was issued for criticising the closure of a crash report thread whilst posting my own crash report. I take it the duplicate thread, which also contains a number of crash reports along with a majority of posts currently in the forum reporting crashes, will also be closed and banned? I certainly hope not because they shouldn't.
