Battlefield 1 Cloud Save Conflict on PC - DEVS AND EA/DICE PROGRAMMERS PLEASE RE
Hi. As of yesterday, July 12th, 2018, every time I EXIT Battlefield 1 I get a message stating, "Cloud Save Conflict - The cloud save data for Battlefield 1 Ultimate Edition does not match the data stored on this computer." The message then asks me to use my cloud data and delete my local saves or use my local saves and delete my cloud data. The cloud is apparently not saving my data when I exit the game and therefore, my local data is always newer now. I have occasionally in the past had this message on a computer I haven't used in a while when ENTERING the game but NEVER EVERY SINGLE TIME I EXIT the game on ALL THREE of my computers!!!! This problem only began yesterday.
Low and behold, I contact Battlefield 1 PC groups that I am members of on Facebook and find out that THOUSANDS of other people are having this problem since the last patch. Heck, ALL of my friends even have this problem. I called EA Support to discuss the problem and they stated that they are not having an issue with their servers. They also gave me some weak sauce instructions like re-installing Origin and performing a clean boot. I complied and yet they STILL WOULD NOT ACCEPT THAT THIS IS A PROBLEM ON THEIR SIDE...NOT OURS!!!!!!!!!
EA/DICE PLEASE...PLEASE...PLEASE....GET YOUR DEVELOPERS TO FIX THIS NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS IS A HUGE ISSUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hello everyone!
With today's update to Origin, we fixed the Origin cloud sync issue for all of our games so you should not experience this anymore.
Thank you for your patience and reporting this issue, 🙂
