Hey guys I'm not sure if its just me but I get a nice 60-70 FPS but every 5 or so seconds my FPS drops to like 12 or less!My Specs are:AMD FX 6100 6 Core, Clocks @ 3.3GHz8GB DDR3 Ram1.2TB HDD (I have 700GB+ space on the HDD BF4 Is installed on)Nvidia GT640 2GBDDR3Now I'm running the latest drivers for Nvidia which is R331 (v331.65) and I'm playing BF4 on LOW settings.Any help is greatly appreciated, Thanks!(If you need more info let me know and I'll pastebin the links in this main thread!)

Answer our damn questionsSince BF4 PC LAUNCH I've had this random FPS drop every few seconds. i KNOW It's not my setup because i can run EVERY GAME EVER on my PC with atleast Medium-high Graphics settings and get a constant stable FPS amount. Same issues here. FPS drops from ~60 to ~12 for a second and recovers to ~60 again every few seconds. "Perfoverlay.drawgraph" command shows extreme GPU and CPU load when FPS drops. The graph is very low, but rises up to the top of my screen for a second, then goes back to normal.Intel Core i5-2400Asus GTX560ti @900Mhz and 1GB VRAM4GB Corsair Vengeance RAM @1600MhzSeagate Barracuda 1TB HDD @7200RPMHope someone can help me. The game is awesome but unplayable at the moment.

Having identical performance issues. For example, going out on the roof in Flood Zone dips my fps down to about 51. I have it capped at 59 since i am using a 60hz monitor.Specs:Windows 7 64-bitCore i5 3470 running at 3.6ghzSapphire HD 7970 OC with boost8GB of RAMThese specs should already be enough to run BF4 at high-ultra. But even with everything turned down, mesh quality high, AA post, deffered and ambient occlusion off, i am still getting these dips. Constant 59 fps though.Also, AMD ccc 13.11 Beta8 gave me a bit of artifacts in a round today. I had my settings running for several months with various different drivers including 13.9 WHQL (Stable as it is, no issues) so i'm sure it has nothing to do with my card clocks. Temps never go over 60c under gaming load for bf4.Fix the netcode and optimise the game, DICE.

Did it just suddenly happen or has it occurred since launch for you?
Suddenly, I'm having the same problem but mine is dropping and not recovering after operating much higher for most of the roll-out. All settings on low...suddenly from 30-50fps down to 10-15. Interesting thing I'm noting in this thread...are the graphic's properties. Makes me wonder if there was an update that's gone wrong...

Its happened since lauch, I had the issue in the beta and it seems it has only improved slightly. I'm really dissapointed considering I've spent £55 and I'm still getting a product which is "unfinished" maybe I should get a re-fund? god knows I just hope they sort this out ASAP!

I have the same problem.
It makes impossible to play this game. :-( The singleplayer campaign is the same...
BF3 runs fine.

My system:
AMD Phenom 2 X4 955 BB
AMD HD6950 DD
4GB Kingston HyperX

I have 60 FPS but every 4-5 sec i have 2-3 FPS then 60 fps again...
I tried the dxsetup, I have installed the latest drivers, and nothing helps.
I hope they will fix this.

Hi i havethe same problem with my batllefield 4. I have a big fps drops all the time even on low setting and i have no idea what should i do right now. I know that my computer isn't so goog but on low details i should workd in 30 fps all the time i think. Do you have same solve for that ?

I have same problem.
-AMD FX 8350, 8 core. 4400Mhz overclocked.... I have tried default 4000Mhz
-gigabyte gtx670 OC
-driver: 331.56 (nvidia latest R driver) clean installation...
-16 GB RAM 1600Mhz
-OS. WINDOWS 7 64 bit
FPS drops 20-30 everytime I should shoot or something. And this happens even lowest graphic settings.
PLEASE tell me solution to this?
