Battlefield 1 console cross platform

Had abandoned my beloved bf1 after disappointment with bfv, never knew there was a 2042 release until it was for free on ps plus essential.

Last years had to relocate on r6 siege since more people play it but it was just a temporary solution.

When I was playing bf1 back then ps players outnumbered both xbox and pc equivalents, back then you had 100,000+ max/day on psn...it's a disgrace pc has more people playing it now and not more than 7-14 thousand according to steam.

I am kindly asking for a cross platform amidst playstations and ms xboxes, I can still enjoy playing the best fps ever made on ps4 pro and I would really like to bring more people together.

There are operations' maps you can play only saturday night live let alone whole modes like legendery frontlines.

The whole ps4-ps5 community is rather small and I believe same applies on xbox live, so please consider bringing players together and with option to exclude pc like r6 siege does.

Kind regards.

Thank you so much for answering.

I am kindly asking EA staff to reconsider their view on the matter since many of us have paid hard earned cash and would still love enjoying/playing the game, it would not be that hard to just increase number of players for both console brands and it's a win-win situation.

In the end of the day I tend to think it will bring even more customers to the upcoming battlefield 6 release, correct me if I am wrong but battlefield 1 outnumbered on sales every other title of the series.

    Kind regards.

I totally understand why you'd love for BF1 to be updated, but it is almost 10 years old at this point, and it was confirmed a while ago that no more large-scale updates will be provided, unfortunately. This also would not be easy to implement if BF1 were still developed for, as a lot would have to be done behind the scenes.

On a personal note, as a console player myself, I don't like crossplay in PVP games whatsoever (PVE games are fine). I plan to turn it off in BF6 like I do with BF2042.

    Greetings Elliot.

The whole point is we are talking about a true classic here when it comes to Battlefield 1, to be honest I even bought it on steam while on sale despite the fact I am not a PC gamer and you will ask me why?

The answer is because I truly believe that game in particular still deserves to be bought even after a decade no matter if you already own it on console.

They obviously had/have it on sale for just 2€ to lay the ground for battlefield 6 and they are very well doing that, I fail to understand though why a PC gamer has more rights than a console player who even bought the game for 80-130€ a few years back.

I am against cross platform as well when it comes to console/pc but support console/console because it's practically pure skill and not expensive equipment that still makes sincere competitive players choose console over pc.

Last but not least I want to point out the current imbalance in player count that exists currently and it shouldn't.

EA has hurted me twice after abandonning c&c generals zero hour and later with Army of 2.

What I preach is common sense here that people at Ubisoft practice well with R6 Siege.

If EA calls an unachievable update to strictly console cross-platform its bestselling battleefield title, hands down for me.

Battlefield 1 is what CS 1.6 is for the whole FPS gaming titles.

    Kind regards.
