    Hey again @shivvatron6000

Hmm.. So your BF4 does the same thing ? And the PC guy I guess assumingly to some extend refreshed your OS. Hmm.

Just to ensure that nothing goes wrong with the installations themselves, check that your UAC isn't set too high. You can follow this guidance to how you can change UAC levels down. I would not prefer keeping it at maximum : http://www.digitalcitizen.life/how-change-user-account-control-uac-levels

    - Let's make sure the redist's are in place. Your tech guy did install the drivers but perhaps he missed the redist's. So here's the Visual C++ 2010 redist's :

    32-bit : https://www.microsoft.com/en-in/download/details.aspx?id=5555

    64-bit : https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=14632

If you are on 32-bit OS , install only the x86 one. Otherwise run both.

    And here's 2013 redist : https://www.microsoft.com/en-ie/download/details.aspx?id=40784

Be sure to run these as an administrator by right-clicking the setups and choosing "Run as administrator" .

    - Go to where your Battlefield 1 is installed in (Default : C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 1) and in there to the folder __Installer\vc\vc2013\redist. Run both of these and make sure you run the as an administrator (Right click, Run as administrator) . Do the same for Battlefield 4 in the folder __Installer\vc\vc2012update3\redist.

And same thing, run both if you 64-bit, otherwise only x86.

    - Then, in Battlefield 4 folder, right-click bf4.exe, choose Properties, goto Compatibility, click the "Run this program as an administrator" , then Apply. Do the same on bf4_x86.exe just in case. In Battlefield 1 folder do this same thing to bf1.exe. Then go to where your Origin is installed in (Default "C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin") and do the same to Origin.exe.  This should ensure that your Battlefield and Origin at least has the necessary administrative rights for sure.

    - Then let's make sure that Origin In-game wouldn't be the cause. Launch Origin, click "Origin" from top left, choose Application settings, then from the top Origin In-game. Click off "Enable Origin In-game" .

    - Go to My Game Library, right-click Battlefield 4, choose Game properties, make sure the "Enable Origin Ingame for.." is disabled, and that from the tab Cloud Saves "Enable cloud saves for all supported games" is turned off. Do this same ot Battlefield 1.

    - Also make sure that you did try to remove the save profiles from the Documents\Battlefield 1\Settings and Documents\Battlefield 4\Settings. Even if you uninstall the games these folders do not get purged so if your tech guy didn't completely uninstall your computer, these files would still exist there and would hold old setting files which could cause this issue to happen. One can try to simply back up the whole Battlefield 4 and Battlefield 1 folders there and deleting them completely, then doing Repair on the game and it should restore them to defaults.

    - Punkbuster errors shouldn't be related to BF1 as that doesn't even use it. BF4 does, though. You should load pbsetup from here and follow the on-site instructions to patch your Punkbuster manually to ensure it is functioning right for BF4 : http://www.evenbalance.com/pbsetup.php

Last but not least, run Windows Update to ensure there's all the drivers properly in place, and load the most fresh drivers to your Geforce from their own site rather than trusting the drivers which would come automatically otherwise with Windows Update. Here's a link : https://www.geforce.com/drivers

Sorry for a bit unorganized post, writing this in a bit of a hurry. I hope you can still follow it through.
