Battlefield 1 Fullscreen not working

So I just bought BF1, and wanted to play, but the game stays in windowed mode.. When I try to switch to fullscreen (or borderless), my screen flips out (black flickering), I hear audio distortion in the music and after a couple of seconds it goes back to windowed mode.

UPDATE:

For anyone experiencing the same problem, it was the fact I was using a TV. Yes, I was gaming on a TV instead of a monitor. I bought a 144hz 1080p monitor, and all issues disappeared. Meaning that Battlefield just has an issue with TVs. Which might be something to look into for the devs... Since I can't be the only one who was doing this.

I've tried all following "fixes":

- Any in-game-option - DOESN'T WORK
- Disabling/enabling DirectX 12 - DOESN'T WORK
- Disabling Origin in-game overlay - DOESN'T WORK
- Shortcut compatibility "disable fullscreen optimization" - DOESN'T WORK
- Alt + Enter - DOESN'T WORK
- Windows Scale back to default (100%) - DOESN'T WORK
- Borderless window - DOESN'T WORK
- NVidea 59 Hz screen setting - DOESN'T WORK
- Any other resolution/refreshrate - DOESN'T WORK
- Rebooting, clean boot, sign out/in - DOESN'T WORK
- "Repair game" in Origin - DOESN'T WORK
- Reinstall the game - DOESN'T WORK
- Reverting back to an older GPU driver - DOESN'T WORK

- Reinstalling GPU drivers - DOESN'T WORK
- NVidea control panel > Display > Adjust desktop size and position > No Scaling/fullscreen - DOESN'T WORK
- I don't use TeamViewer
- I don't use Samsung Magician
- I don't use any streaming software

- There's in fact nothing but Origin running in the background

Soooooooo.......... I'm kind of desperate here.
Thanks in advance.

MY SYSTEM (all drivers up to date):

GPU: GTX 1070 (not overclocked, just removed power restrictions)
PSU: 650 watts
OS Drive: SSD 240GB
Game Drive: HDD 2TB 7200rp/m

OK so far I have ruled out the following:

    - It's not a GPU driver problem (installed, reinstalled, reverted back, etc a 1000 times)
    - It's not a resolution/refreshrate problem (changed the settings in-game and PC a 1000 different ways)
    - It's not a "broken file" problem ("Repaired", uninstalled, reinstalled the game several times now (12 hours of trying))
    - The problem is not my system (all my other 24 games run PERFECTLY)
    - It's not a scaling problem (tried every imaginable setting/change)
    - It's not a problem with the PROSAVE files (deleted, edited, copied, replaced a 1000 times)
    - So far it's not a conflicting software problem (there's nothing but Origin and Malwarebytes running. I have uninstalled and disabled EVERYTHING ELSE, even stuff I didn't even know I had, like Intel Rapid Storage Technology?) Guess the last thing to try is uninstalling Malwarebytes. EDIT: Uninstalling Malwarebytes solves nothing.
    - To be clear, it's not a problem with the Creator's update for Windows 10 either. The problem occurred BEFORE I installed the update.

THE ONLY THING LEFT with which I can imagine something being wrong: BF1 identifies my screen as "0 Generic PnP screen", while all my other games do identify it correctly. Something to do with this perhaps?

    Hey,

I had the same issue before and I’ve tried several ways to fix it, finally i had to check the game settings itself from more - options - video and had to change the mode from there.

Give it a try it might work for you as well.
