Battlefield 1 on PS5 won't let me sign in - just tells me of expired credentials
Hello,
I tried searching other help threads and couldn't find anything specifically related to my issue.
I am trying to play Battlefield 1 on PS5. I can only access the campaign as of now because I can't sign into my EA account. When I first logged in, it told me "your login credentials have expired. Please reset your password at ea.com" or something close to that. I logged into my EA account and reset my password. I wasn't sure what that would do though, since I've never signed into my EA account on my PS5 and I never even signed into my EA account on my PS4 when I had it. I checked my linked accounts in my EA account settings, and I was right. The only linked account there is my Steam account.
Still, I reset both my EA password and my PS Account password , but every time I launch the game it still tells me "your login credentials have expired. Please reset your password at ea.com." I have never even had the option to sign into my account. The game just tells me that my login credentials are expired even though I don't think there's a way for it to even know what account it is trying to access because, again, I've never signed into my EA account on my PS5 or PS4.
All I want is the ability to sign into my EA account when I launch the game. I didn't try to log in the first time and then it told me about expired credentials. That was just the first message I received. I have yet to see a screen where I can enter my username and password for my EA account. How can I get that screen to appear so that I can log in to my EA account and play online like I'd like to?
Thanks for any response.
- Hey @SuperGing11 Sorry to hear about this. It'd probably be best to contact EA Help directly for a hand with this:
