Battlefield 1 steam launching error

Every time i launch battlefield 1 it says "try relaunching your game to continue linking your accounts" its getting really annoying as i just want to play. i have tried reinstalling my game, both launchers. it has worked previously and only started a week or 2 ago. i had it on ea play, worked fine then, i got it on steam and at first it worked, the time it stopped working is when i had decided to install extra RAM for a smoother experience. is their a way to fix this issue or do i need to buy the game directly on origin to make it work?
