All the Same problem here like Sakuxi from Finland describes. Im from Denmark and After the latest few days the game server keeps saying "Unknown error" loads maps and loop back again to the "Main Menu" and I can´t join the "Quickmatch" anymore. Until the last few days, I had no problems at all. It´s so frustrating not beeing able to play ones favorite game. You guys at EA ought to do better than this. The game is expensive enough and If Battelfield V is gonna be like this bugging envent all the time also? I wount invest in it at all, that´s for sure...FIX it please, so we can get value for our money and not errors for our money!!!

My system runs windows 10 - 64 bit - 32 GB ram DDR4 - 1 HD SSD at 1 TB for games - 1 HD 3 TB for anything else... Network Cable 160/60 GHZ...Soundsystem 7.1 - Nvidia MSI GTX980 graphic - 144 HZ game monitor from Asus, all top nuts settings!!! but still Battelfield1 keeps saying "unknowen error". All other games on my sytem runs without trouble online!!!

Earlier this week they were having some Server Issues, around the same time this Post was created, on Tuesday.
However, since then, they've done a Server Refresh, so everything should be going fine.
If you're still having issues, try the steps in the link that I posted above.

Are you kidding me? I understand iluminatethesky that you trying to help but always suspect EA first,allways their problem. Internet problems that i had, have been EA : s fault since battlefield 2. ANNNDD IT WAS AGAIN! This fixed it ;
Had the same problem and found this post from user "clickaus" on the EA forums which fixed it for me.a
Solution: Click on BF1 properties and untick Enable Origin In Game for Battlefield 1

Are you kidding me? iluminatethesky. ty for help but suspect EA first. Its allways been EA😕 fault since Battlefield 2. AND IT WAS AGAIN.
I still cant get into any servers. I am in Aus have never had a problem with the game before but now disconnects every time i try to join a server. I have done all the basic BS that EA recommends.
I solved this for me..........
After doing repair on game right click it and manually download. It downloads more files then I have had no trouble getting into servers. For some reason the repair locates missing or corrupt files but does not automatically install them.
