Battlefield 1942 Black Screen

I downloaded Battlefield 1942 from Origin. When I try to open it, a black screen ( and beep ) comes up and the game is shutting down.

8 GB Ram

Intel Celeron B830

HD Graphics

Windows 10 Home

    1. Go to windows search

    2. find/ open "Turn windows features on or off"

    3. Click legacy components

    4. Active it direct play

    I solved the problem. I active it Directplay.

    And how did you active Active play? Can you tell me what settings you need and where do you configure it?
