battlefield 1942 will not run

I had the same issue when i first installed it, Had to right click on bf1942 in origin, my games and click repair. It then worked ok

I have just tried that but it still goes in a box then quits then I tried going into troubleshooting and tried to see if it would open but then it says missing required file ssleay32.dll if you know any thing much would be appreciated.

hey, you can try this step:

open origin games (in your program files)

and open blackscreen.exe with administrator privilege !

That didn't work it came up in a black box then quits but when I try troubleshooting it comes up with missing required file "ssleay32.dll" 

When I run as administration nothing happens should that be happening
