Lost connection to EA servers error AND Multiplayer installation stuck at 0%
My friend and I recently purchased a physical copy of BF1 for PS4 from CeX for nostalgias sake. I have been relentlessly attempting to get this game to work but for over 2 weeks now I cannot get past the "You have lost connection to EA Servers" error and when I press to go online it just says connecting and then shows the same error again. Furthermore, multiplayer will simply not install.
I have spent the past two weeks troubleshooting and browsing these forums. I have changed my DNS multiple times, we just had new WiFi installed, I've checked my NAT type which is Type 2. I've deleted and re-installed the game countless times, I managed to start installing multiplayer immediately after re-installation but when it gets near to completing it crashes and then goes back to 0%.
I've checked the PS4 servers for BF1 and they're still online. We also bought BF4 which works completely fine. I've attempted to get in touch with an EA Advisor but it seems like I'm searching for a mythical beast that doesn't actually exist. Please for the love of all that is holy can someone help me out without directing me to the troubleshooting tips page that I've memorised at this point.
Thanks.
