Battlefield 2 and PR crashing

Hello everyone,

i've been having problems with BF2 and the Project Reality mod recently. i cannot login to my account (since gamespy server are down) and i used the revive BF2 launcher to create a new account, the revive BF2 launcher worked with BF2 but messed up with the mods i installed so i unistalled BF2, reviveBF2 and project reality, reinstalled them, and now not only PR crshes, as before, when i launch it, now BF2 crashes with no error when i login to my online account which before i reinstalled, didn't work, but didn't crash the game and now it does.

please help i miss BF2 and it's great mods....

EDIT: i'm using the steam version of BF2
