[Battlefield 2] doesn't work after update 1.5

I wanted to reinstall my old BF2. Did it, worked fine ! Then I update the games 1st to 1.4xxx then to 1.5, and now it launches (I can see bf2.exe in processes) uses 23% CPU , and nothing happens.

Besides, in Origin I can see BF2 armored Fury, Euro Force, but NOT BF2 the original, (I have the original install DVD) When I introduce the serial # I get an error, "the product code you entered is invalid" ????
