Battlefield 2 Login problems
I have a weird problem:
When starting Battlefield 2, I can't login into my online account, it gives me an error message:
whenever I try logging in via my username, I get an error-message, which tells me that "there was an error getting an sockets adres" ("addres" not "address" for some reason).
This wouldn't be as big of a problem, if I remembered which email-address was connected to my username (yes, I still remember password and username, and can log in with those on a different computer, but I forgot my email-address).
So my question(s):
1. Is there a way to find out which email-address was used to create a certain username? I don't need password or something like that, I still remember those.
2. Is there a way to fix the problem with the socket adres(s)?
I already tried uninstalling and reinstalling BF2, deactivating firewalls, deactivating anti-virus-software, enabling game-mode in anti-virus-software, etc.
I think the socket issue could be an antivirus/firewall issue, so check that everything is let through.
