Hi, i have an old original battlefield 2 collection, but i dont have a cd/dvd driver and i wish to play how can i find a installer?

I've locked this thread as it hasn't been active for a few years until recently.
However, anyone who wants to continue the discussion is most welcome to create a new thread.
I have heard you can still play BF2 now in 2026 via BF2HUB. There is videos on youtube as guides but i cant seem to get it right. Is there anyone here who can help? PLS! I really miss playing BF2 haha!

Does it still work now in 2026? I heard it should work with BF2HUB. But I cant seem to get it to work even tho i have a CDKEY

Would be great, I know its a big undertaking to connect it to the current EA systems. Let alone understanding the code of the game. :D @shamussg9
/Atic@EA_Atic. It would be a good idea that you guys would bring back battlefield 2 and 2142 a lot of people want to play And trust me these were the best out of all battlefield. EA would make money on it again. Hands down. Think about remastering it even develop it for console, since it was PC only

You can still play BF2. Head to the BF2 section on Reddit. They have details on how to get this working.
