Battlefield 3 Online pass PC

I was wondering, since you no longer need a pass for either the Xbox or Playstation, when this will also be the case for PC players?

We dropped the whole Online Pass program. However, you will still need to get your own new copy of BF3 or BF4 if you want to play the game on PC.
