Battlefield 3 premium code redeem question

Hello, I have bought a pre-owned battlefield 3 cd and it came with a redeem code for co op and when I tried it it didn't work. My question is what is the redeem code for co op on battlefield 3?

If you bought a pre-used copy of BF3 and the code is not working, that means it's got already redeemed and you need to get a new Online Pass via the PSN Store or the Xbox Marketplace.

then wait, the online pass has now been discontinued, and is in the process of being removed from all titles using it
