Battlefield 3 premium edition code

Hi

I bought a battlefield 3 premium edition pack from the shops.

I think i typed in the codes PE first then BF3 second. When I ran the disk, it said " it appears you have the wrong disk for this code"

So I am downloading BF3 limited edition, but my Premium edition code appears to be locked out, or used as it says.

Is there anyway I can redeem my PE code after BF3 is loaded.

    Hi,

as you say you have 2 codes, one is BF3 LE and the other Premium (not premium edition)
and together those form the PE pack. Since you already activated both and appears used

    things should be ok.

Origin lists BF3 standard and LE but not premium in "my games". It only shows premium in

    the game details.

Right click the game and choose view game details. Scroll down to expansions. If premium

was unlocked, Origin should show premium and all DLC's in full color and not greyed out. You

should be able to download the expansions as well.

As to the disc error, I think normally the PE pack is BF3 standard + Premium (why use LE as

you would have 2 Karkand DLC's) and it could be you got a standard disc with a LE code.
    But this is just guessing.

[edit] or it could be, when first activating the codes and then using the install of disc it will not work.

Once a code has been activated on Origin the disc setup will not work. You can still use the

disc for installation but you will have to leave the disc in (do not start setup) and use the

download button in Origin. Origin will detect the disc and use it for installation and download updates.

I do believe that the BF3 code may have known that it was part of a PE pack or else it logged it to my profile.

I downloaded the LE as the disk upload wouldnt work anymore.

after that it did surprisingly begin to download the DLC's. albiet after 2 full days of downloading time.

So I was reassured when that happened. Thanks for your feedback.
