Battlefield 3 Premium Edition PC Download "YOU OWN THIS"

I bought BF3 on Origin around 6 years ago when I swapped from 360 to PC. I never really played much multiplayer on the PC until recently I got back into it a bit. Today I realized that I couldn't join servers with DLC maps so I clicked the popup to purchase them. However, on Battlelog's website, the box to purchase premium edition on PC is already grayed out with the text "YOU OWN THIS". I checked my Origin library and under the "Extra Content" tab it shows Premium and all the DLC available to buy with no option to install. I tried contacting EA support through online chat and he just suggested I come here. I checked threads from people with similar problems but most have been inactive for at least a couple months. I just want to know why Battlelog says I own the Premium Edition but Origin says Premium Edition is Origin Acess only. Also of note, even on Battlelog's website, the boxes to buy premium or any DLC is not grayed out. Instead, they have the "BUY NOW" prompt that I expected to see under the Premium Edition.

Also, here's my Battlelog. No trace of premium assignments or anything being completed. Just confused why Battlelog would say I own it already.

  • Hey @slatedriver  Did you buy Premium Edition on PC?

Purchase don't share between PC and Xbox 3460 so you would need to buy it again on PC.

  • Hey @EA_Atic , thanks for replying.

I don't remember ever purchasing the premium edition of the game anywhere. I had a hard copy of the regular game on 360 and later bought premium membership. I know purchases don't share but the thing that confuses me is that, on Battlelog, it specifies that I already own the PC Download of both the Premium Edition and the Standard Edition of BF3. I linked screenshots from my Battlelog store in my first post.

@slatedriver Yeah I saw I think its picking up on you owning it on console.

In other words you would need to buy it on Origin.

  • @EA_Atic  See that would be pretty weird because I didn't own the Premium edition of the game on console, just the membership and the standard edition hard copy. Also, the website does specify that this is the "PC Download" version. In fact, there is a completely different page for each platform for the game on the Battlelog store and the Xbox 360 page doesn't have access to whether or not you own any of them it just tells you that everything is available on the Xbox Games Store. So I don't know how the PC edition page on the Battlelog store website would pick up on me owning it on console, when I don't, and when there's a separate page for console editions and they don't tell you whether you own it or not.
