battlefield 3 redeem codes not working?

Hi I have bought battlefield 3 limited edition  physicla warfare pack from GAME but when i try to go online with multiplayer and entere the redeem code it states that its already been used? This also applies to the code for the physical warfare pack code? When entering both codes it states already used and to buy from marketplace for 800 units? 

Please advise what I can do as I was not advised that this was an used game and if it was why pay for the game when the online code cannot be used?
