Alright it looks like I got the solution posted in the FAQ stickied thread to work, so this is solved.
over the past 2 days i have had some time off work. in my lazy way i sat there for most of the days in my undies playing bf3 and noticed a minimum of 2 players per round kicked for this very reason.
as far as i know there may be something wrong with your punk buster.
have you tried updating it?
or even uninstalling it completely and reinstalling?
these are just a couple of tips i had seen else where.
it is pretty sad. first people getting kicked left and right for cheat o meter bs and now this.
I was under the impression that Punkbuster was something that existed soley on the server side that would monitor clients. I'm not hosting my own servers, so I wouldn't have thought to try that. However, I do see that "Punkbuster services" is listed in Programs and Features, so I'll try uninstalling and post results when I get a chance.
punkbuster exists on your own pc also (its installed with the game)
this error is easy
sometimes punkbuster for some reason does not get auto updated
and thats what has happened here

download the latest client for punkbuster
install it
problem solved 🙂
